SUMMARY
Sea Foam Spray is a blend of cleaning and lubricating petroleum ingredients that can be used SAFELY in all types of 2 and 4 stroke gasoline engines. Especially important for modern GDI engines, it cleans critical upper engine areas where fuel cleaners can’t reach.
Apply Sea Foam Spray through fuel injection throttle bodies to clean harmful engine deposits from intake valves and combustion chamber areas. Use Sea Foam Spray to fog engines and coat spark plug cavities to protect your engine during storage.
Sea Foam Spray does NOT contain harsh detergent or abrasive chemicals that can harm your engine or fuel system components. Help your engine run cleaner and last longer!

I have a chrysler 300 2018 v6 and they used to have a similiar product. However, when I used that after spraying the can I would let sit overnight or longer. And then give it a good run. Your instructions says 10min then give it a good run. Can I let it sit overnight before going for a drive.
Great question, Ed. With Sea Foam Spray, I would not recommend letting it soak overnight. For an upper engine cleaning, a shorter hot soak of about 10-15 minutes works better because the heat in the engine helps with the cleaning process.
After applying the Sea Foam Spray, shut the engine off and let it sit for about 10-15 minutes, then restart it and drive normally. You don’t want the engine to cool completely with the Sea Foam still in the combustion chambers, as that can increase the chance of fouling the spark plugs.
I want to use the spray in my Mercury outboard motor to winterize the motor. I’m supposed to remove the two spark plugs and spray one ounce of the Sea Foam into each spark plug hole. How long do I spray to give one ounce?
Thanks for the question, Bill. I’d use about a 2-3 second burst. Then, with the ignition off or the battery disconnected, turn the engine over by hand 2 full rotations (do not use a starter). If the engine has a pull start, with the ignition off or the battery disconnected pull the rope slowly twice.

Can I use Sea Foam Spray to clean the O2 sensor that got covered with undercoating oil?
Which exact Sea Foam product do I need to spray through the spark plug holes?
Does Sea Foam harm oxygen sensors or any others sensors?
Thanks for the question, Chris. No, when used as directed, Sea Foam products do not harm oxygen sensors or any other sensors. When applying Sea Foam Spray, just make sure you apply it downstream of the Mass Air Flow sensor (MAF sensor). Most MAF sensors are a safe distance upstream of the throttle plate anyway. Hope that helps and let me know if you have any other questions!
